The Westworks team attended Procurex National 2024 on Thursday 16th May at the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool. This was an exciting ‘first’ for our team, exhibiting at such an event for the first time. In attendance was our CEO, Ian Dorward, Head of Operations, Karina Gent, and Marketing Officer, Chloe Wilkinson.
The team thoroughly enjoyed forming new connections with procurement professionals, as well as putting faces to names to strengthen existing relationships. The event also provided an excellent networking opportunity for us to meet with suppliers, of which we had some excellent conversations with.
There were a number of great talks throughout the day, regarding the future of procurement, social value, and market engagement, as well as other topics. It was fantastic to listen to a variety of speakers, all individually sharing their knowledge and expertise surrounding the topic of procurement.
Westworks would like to thank everyone who visited our stand on the day. After so many interesting conversations, we came away from the event feeling energised and with a fresh perspective on the public procurement landscape. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and hopefully working together in future!
