Westworks appointed as trusted procurement partner by SUPC
We are proud to announce a new partnership with the Southern Universities Procurement Consortium (SUPC). SUPC has appointed Westworks as a trusted partner to procure built environment services for its members.
From 15 January 2026, SUPC members will have direct access to our compliant, flexible procurement solutions. We’ll support them in sourcing building maintenance, compliance and management services for the upkeep and development of university estates, ensuring inspiring, high-quality spaces for both learning and student life.
Commenting on the new partnership, Gemma Payne, Director of SUPC, shared:
‘This partnership with Westworks strengthens the value we offer to SUPC members by expanding access to high-quality, compliant solutions that respond directly to member needs. It’s another example of how SUPC continues to invest in meaningful partnerships that deliver real, practical benefits for our members.’
Supporting the unique needs of universities
Universities manage large and complex sites, often with increasing pressure to achieve value for money, meet sustainability targets, and deliver social value. This new partnership provides SUPC members with a trusted and compliant route to source the right suppliers to maintain and develop their estates in line with their goals.
At the heart of our approach are our Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS). More flexible than traditional frameworks, they allow members to:
- Procure services tailored to each project’s needs
- Invite preferred and local suppliers to tender
- Access a diverse and growing supplier base, including SMEs and specialists
- Ensure full compliance throughout the process

A fully supported procurement route
As with all clients, our dedicated team will manage tenders on behalf of SUPC members. We’ll provide ongoing support to save them time, reduce resource demands, and achieve the best possible procurement outcomes.
Ian Dorward, CEO of Westworks, commented:
“Westworks can reduce the time and administrative burden on university estate and procurement teams, help make the most of limited budgets, and open up access to a diverse supply chain, including SMEs and local contractors.
I’m proud that we will be helping SUPC members to deliver robust, transparent procurement that supports world-class learning environments.“
