Westworks is a Central Purchasing Body, providing pre-tendered works, services and supplies to the public sector.

Our users are made up of a continually expanding group of public sector bodies from housing associations to local authorities, government departments, and charities. Westworks provide users a route to market for their projects that ensures compliance with the relevant contract regulations, providing the best value materials and services in a timely manner.

Why choose Westworks?

We specialise in the construction, maintenance, and repair of the built environment. By joining forces with our sister organisations, Efficiency East Midlands and South East Consortium (also non-profits), between us, we can provide a wide range of solutions. All you need to do is contact us with your query, and we will endeavour to find an appropriate and best solution.
There is no cost to access Westworks’ solutions, and membership gives access to all Westworks arrangements, as well as those of our collaborating sister consortia. This means that by being a Westworks user, you have free access to a very wide scope of pre-procured solutions. You can call-off anything from long term contracts and partnerships, to small individual projects – they can all be accommodated within our solutions.
All of Westworks’ suppliers are required to demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility, social inclusion, and how they contribute to their communities in carrying out their contracts. We actively encourage our members to draw upon and exploit this considerable resource and opportunity through the mini-competition process.
You will have our support throughout the entire process of using Westworks’ solutions, from the development of your requirement to the delivery of your project. Often, the formation of new contracts can present challenges which require development of new skills and strengthening of old ones. By assisting where appropriate, providing training where necessary, and monitoring performance, we work with your teams to ensure effective and consistent delivery.
At Westworks we recognise the importance of innovation across the built environment. There is provision for Off Site Manufacturing/Modern Methods of Construction and everything associated with new technologies, to be utilised across our DPSs. Through our approved suppliers, we have access to a range of innovative offerings which we share with our membership. We also have a program of education to ensure that members are aware of emerging technologies and how they can best make use of novel ideas and methodologies.

Westworks have always encouraged the use of local contractors and suppliers wherever possible and effective. There is no cost for suppliers to join Westworks DPS and they are open to all that are able to demonstrate the required level of competence.
