Westworks Chair speaks at National Housing Federation Conference

Lindy Morgan, Chair of the Westworks Board, joined a panel at the National Housing Federation’s Asset Management and Maintenance Conference to discuss the important topic of strengthening the standards and delivery of contractors.

The conference took place across two days, 11th – 12th October. Lindy shared her thoughts on the event:

“It was great to share a platform with Tom Sowerby (Wates) and Paul Williams (PFH) at the NHF conference. Collaboration between housing providers and with the supply chain was a key message. The question is, will we turn these words into action? I hope so, and at Westworks we want to talk with anyone and everyone who wants to collaborate to help us to meet the challenges we face, to innovate and improve delivery.”

Westworks CEO, Ian, was also in attendance. He shared his thoughts on this year’s conference:

“My key take aways from this conference are that of voice and collaboration. There are many stakeholders that need a voice, no more deserving than residents, who are often unheard. It was great to see residents represented on the panels and expressing views that can contribute to the reshaping of policy. Creating opportunities for all voices to be heard and valued is collaborative by definition, so I hope the sector is able to take that initiative forward. I know that we at Westworks will endeavour to do just that.”
