‘Our experience with Westworks was a positive one.
We were interested in the DPS route for a couple of contracts because it helped us bring stakeholder and procurement goals together. We also wanted to give suppliers we were already working with the opportunity to be part of the tender process.
The size of Westwork’s DPS was right for us – enough regional suppliers to be competitive but not so many that we’d be wading through returns.
The team were responsive and helpful, and we felt supported throughout the process. Sometimes, if a challenge comes up, you can come across the attitude of ‘computer says no’, but that wasn’t the case with Westworks. It was ‘We’ll do what we can to facilitate this for you’. For example, the team were helpful in working at the last minute to onboard a couple of our suppliers we wanted to invite onto the DPS.’
