Westworks Attends Building Communities Awards 2024

On Friday 15^th March, our Marketing & Communications Officer Chloe attended the Athena in Leicester, on behalf of the team at Westworks.

Hosted by Paul Evers, EEM organised the event to recognise and celebrate professionalism, excellence and innovation within the housing and construction community.

With over 400 people in attendance, the evening consisted of a three-course meal, a raffle, and a charitable auction – held to raise money for Andy’s Man Club, the chosen charity of the year.

Andy’s Man Club are a men’s suicide prevention charity, offering free-to-attend peer-to-peer support groups across the United Kingdom and online. They aim to end the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and help men through the power of conversation.

Westworks CEO, Ian, had the pleasure of judging the Collaborative Working category. There were some excellent entries, showcasing innovative and impactful projects that exemplify the power of teamwork and partnerships in this industry.

The decision-making process was undoubtedly challenging due to the high quality of entries, but we would like to congratulate all category entrants for their dedication to collaborative excellence.

Finalists were Fortem Solutions and Aaron Services Limited, and runner up was Derby Homes. A special congratulations go to the winners of the Collaborative Working category, Dodd Group with Solihull Community Housing!

Westworks would like to thank the team at EEM for inviting us to be a part of such an incredible event – the time and dedication put into the evening was truly admirable. We look forward to future events celebrating the amazing achievements in the housing and construction industry!
