Members are made up of a continually expanding group of public sector bodies from housing associations to local authorities, government departments and charities. Westworks provide members a route to market for their projects that ensures compliance with the relevant contract regulations, providing the best value in a timely manner. Our members now manage approximately 2 million properties across the country.
We’re a modern, ethical organisation taking on new ideas and looking beyond our sector for fresh approaches.
As part of our team, you will support members, through the contracting of works and services, to deliver the best value for them and their customers. You will deliver high quality results, paying close attention to detail. Whilst having a sound knowledge of procurement and contracting in the public sector would be useful, intelligence, experience and the drive to helps us achieve our goals is key.
You will be actively involved in tendering maintenance, refurbishment and development projects across the country, with responsibility for ensuring that compliance with regulations is maintained, by administering our existing procedures, and processes.
This is a home-based role with travel to Swindon for regular face to face meetings (currently fortnightly). You will be conducting a wide range of tasks and self-motivation, an enthusiastic approach, willingness to learn and diligence are key attributes required. We offer a flexible approach to working hours, mobile technology, training and support. There is significant scope to develop this role to best suit your skill set while further shaping the organisation to better meet the needs of our members in the future. Whilst we would prefer a full-time member of staff we can be flexible for the right individual. Job share or part-time may be an option.
